WHA Dorothy is a true black with tiny white spots in her blanket. She is a quiet, well tempered female that has produced two rose grey females for us. She has not been shown, as she has an open style of fleece which is still very fine for a 7 year old. In 2014 her histogram shows an AFD of 22.7, an SD of 4.3, a CV of 19.1, and only 6.1% > 30 microns. Her 2017 histogram shows and AFD of 22.6, an SD of 4.7, a CV of 20.7 and 6.3% > 30 microns. This is excellent at 10 years old. She produces offspring that are better animals when bred to a good male.
Dorothy has Augusto and Merrill as grandfathers, and she comes from a blue-eyed white dam, so we are somewhat careful about who we breed her to in order to minimize the chance of any blue-eyed offspring. Her two daughters are both dark eyed rose greys and have produced dark eyed offspring.
Dorothy is currently open and will come with a breeding to any of the Wild Hair wholly-owned herdsires.
