Details
After Midnight is a dark silver grey with a mottled look that we have never seen in another alpaca. He is a sturdy boy with excellent confirmation and a very soft fleece. His mom is a double blue ribbon winner and his sire is an Augusto grandson with a soft hand and retained fineness which we expect midnight to mirror.
We only showed him once at the 2011 Fall Festival and he took a fourth. The judge commented on his soft handle and fineness. His 2014 shearing histogram shows an AFD of 20.4, an SD of 4.3, a CV of 21.1, and 3.5% over 30 micron. His 2017 shearing histogram shows an AFD of 23.8, an SD of 4.9, a CV of 20.6, and 8.6% over 30 microns. This is excellent for a dark grey male.
